Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (she/her)

Melissa Vitale is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of emotional and mental health conditions. Melissa has experience treating patients in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings. Melissa works with patients from a broad range of backgrounds and most commonly treats mood problems such as depression and anxiety disorders

TAYLOR EIPPERT, LCSW, CCTS-I

Psychotherapist/Clinical Social Worker (she/her)

Taylor is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist. Taylor has experience in the hospital setting, offering services in both Emergency Department and Adult Psychiatric Inpatient settings. Taylor is also a therapist at Loyola University Chicago providing services to undergraduate and graduate students. As a therapist, her goal is to provide relief from emotional burdens and help navigate life’s obstacles. She believes that by learning tools for better coping and increasing self-awareness, every individual has the capacity to heal and increase their sense of balance and well-being. Although trained in generalist practice, she specializes in treatment with young adults to address a range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, life transitions, self-esteem, stress/burnout, and relationship difficulties.

ALEXIS BARKIN

Clinical Social Worker/Therapist (She,Her)

Alexis is a clinical social worker that specializes in trauma-based treatment. She views psychotherapy as an opportunity for people to begin healing holistically. Alexis believes in the power of change and supports her clients in cultivating more balance in their daily lives. She enjoys working collaboratively alongside clients to find relief from various life stressors.
Although Alexis' training is primarily based in working with survivors of power-based violence (i.e. sexual assault, intimate partner violence, childhood sexual abuse), she also has had years of experience working with young-adults that are struggling with anxiety, depression, life-transitions, grief, and other stressors.
Alexis knows that starting treatment can be a daunting process and she strives to make sure her clients feel comfortable during the process while gently challenging them along the way.

STACEY SCHULTE, MSN, AGPCNP, PMHNP

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (she/her)

Stacey Schulte is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She provides general psychiatric services for adult patients who are experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety disorders, and bipolar disorder. For every new patient, Stacey provides a comprehensive initial psychiatric assessment, and offers subsequent mental health treatment including medication management and individual psychotherapy. Stacey is dedicated to helping patients live vibrant and fulfilling lives.
I offer empathetic and collaborative care. I strive to help you to improve your quality of life and to learn new ways of managing your emotions. Life changes are achieve by learning new skills and medication management. I am a conservative medication provider and believe less is more.
She works collaboratively with her clients with the goal of improving their quality of life. She believes in meeting the client where they are, and building a working relationship. The intent is for a collaboration where the client feels heard and respected on their journey. You may be stuck and struggling, but there is hope and you can feel better!
